Sand filter Intex 8 m³/h model SX2800

Intex swimming pools always recommend the use of a sand filter for even better water quality and easier maintenance.

The 8 m³/h sand filter can be used in pools up to 32000 litres. When using the sand filter to bridge a heat pump or other heating element, this should be taken into account.

Filter media to be used: PPG Glassmedia for filter grade 1.

Connection: 38 mm.

For connection to smaller Intex pools with 32 mm tubes, the following additional connection pieces are required:

- 1 x code 29061 Adapter B 32 mm - 38 mm 2 pieces in one bag.

- 2 x code 0149682 ABS hose connector 32 - 32 mm.

Flow rate: 8 m³/h.

Filling: when used with Intex glass media: 25 kg (not included).

Filling: when using with sand: 35 kg (not included).

Six-way top mounting valve with flange and clamping ring.

Timer 220 - 240 V.

If you use your sand filter all year round, the filling should only be changed every 5 years, unless you have many problems with the water quality and we recommend changing the filling anyway.

If the sand filter is not used during the winter period, we recommend removing the filling before storing it and replacing it after the winter.

We recommend backwashing the filter at least every 3 weeks as a maintenance measure, so that the filter is rinsed and all the dirt stored in the sand filter is removed.
